Come Try Ringette – Friday August 23

Learn about ringette while having fun!

Dates:

Friday August 23, 5:30-7:00PM. The ice time is from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

This is a free event for school aged children of all genders regardless of skill, but space is limited to 30!

Experienced coaches will be on the ice.

BENEFITS TO TRYING RINGETTE

The on ice component of the session will begin at 6:00PM so please arrive 30 minutes in advance (5:30PM) to give yourself enough time to put on skates, helmet and any padding and for our team of volunteers to get nametags, waivers and introductions done before the session begins at 6:00PM.  

Please don’t forget:

  • skates and helmet
  • warm clothing (for parents as well as the arena is chilly)
  • any protective padding
  • gloves
  • we do have some gear for the young players but please do contact me if you need anything specifically and I’ll do my best to source it
  • any questions you may have about ringette in Vancouver!

Come Try Ringette with the Vancouver Ringette Association for 4 Fridays in July and August at Sunset Rink 6-7pm!

Come join Vancouver Ringette Association for a FUN FREE day at the rink trying out the Game that we all love – RINGETTE! Come out to Sunset Arena, strap on some skates, grab a stick and a ring, and try out the fastest game on ice!

At this fun event, participants will play games and learn drills that are suitable for all skill levels. Beginner skaters are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Update: FREE skate rentals provided by VRA

What to bring:

  • your own skates and helmet, if you have them (free rentals provided)
  • warm clothing (for spectators as well, as the arena is chilly)
  • any protective padding you may have
  • gloves
  • any questions you may have about ringette in Vancouver
