Come Try Ringette! Summer 2024

Come Try Ringette with the Vancouver Ringette Association for 4 Fridays in July and August at Sunset Rink 6-7pm!

July 19, July 26, Aug 2, Aug 9

Come join Vancouver Ringette Association for a FUN FREE day at the rink trying out the Game that we all love – RINGETTE! Come out to Sunset Arena, strap on some skates, grab a stick and a ring, and try out the fastest game on ice!

At this fun event, participants will play games and learn drills that are suitable for all skill levels. Beginner skaters are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Update: FREE skate rentals provided by VRA

What to bring:

  • your own skates and helmet, if you have them (free rentals provided)
  • warm clothing (for spectators as well, as the arena is chilly)
  • any protective padding you may have
  • gloves
  • any questions you may have about ringette in Vancouver

What is happening: The on ice component of the session will begin at 6:00PM so please arrive 30 minutes in advance (5:30PM) to give yourself enough time to put on skates, helmet and any padding and for our team of volunteers to get nametags, waivers and introductions done before the session begins at 6:00PM.

Additional Information: Ringette is a safe, fun and inclusive sport for all genders. Please invite your friends to try out our sport!

School aged children of all genders are welcome! For the session on July 19, we also welcome Masters (30+) players.
