Summer 2024 Evening Skills Session led by Sami Tajbakhsh

We still have some space in the summer evening skills sessions.  See below for details. There are two programs one for U10/U12 and one for U14/U16.

The Summer Evening Skills Sessions will be led by Sami Tajbakhsh. Sami has been playing ringette for 22 years. She grew up playing for North West Van and quickly made the jump to AA, playing from U14 through to U19, and competing at both the BC and Canada Winter Games. After AA, Sami played for the Montreal Mission and BC Thunder NRL teams. Sami has coached various teams, camps and clinics including Zone, Team BC and at La Relève U17 National Development Program.

The Summer program is all about unlocking potential and building skills from the ground up. We’ll be diving into defensive triangle work, offensive zone strategies, breakouts, and more, all designed to give players a solid foundation and a competitive edge. By starting early athletes will gain a deep understanding of the game, so we’ll be covering everything from basic fundamentals like shooting and stabbing to more advanced concepts like man-on-D defense. Throughout the camp, we’ll be keeping a close eye on each player’s progress and adjusting our approach as needed.
